Jon is the Storycatcher that takes responsibility for forging our strong client relationships.
To do this, he draws on the 8 years he spent as an agency Group Account Director, working as an effective extension of Castrol, Tesco.com and first direct’s marketing team.
Jon’s ability to direct and deliver is impressive. Multiple concurrent digital campaigns for the biggest FMCG brands in the world, a handful of global product launches, a vast suite of award-winning video content and interactive experiences including the sponsorship of 2 major football tournaments… He’s well-used to steering multi-timezone, multi-stakeholder, multi-agency accounts and projects safely through to successful conclusion.
While his talents and abilities are broad, his passion is for all things digital – particularly ensuring customer experience lies at the heart of digital strategy.
Jon’s brain never switches off. He’s an incurably curious, creatively ambitious type – and insanely likeable with it.
During Andy’s 15-year career as an agency art director/Creative Director, he won a multitude of prestigious awards, including Cannes Lion, Dadi, D&AD and Lurzer’s Archive, leading creative teams working on Castrol, The Open University, The Co-operative, Oxfam and Keep Britain Tidy. As a creative, his talent lies in quickly identifying the reason why anyone should care about a company, product or service, then very quickly exploding that out into a myriad of compelling creative possibilities.
However, as a Storycatcher Andy applies his talents to solving problems at the broadest level – he may be an adman by trade, but his true value lies in the commonsense commercial insights he brings to our clients, delivering creative solutions to product and delivery challenges as often as communication ones.
He’s passionate, tenacious and incredibly hard working.
Dee is the driving force behind our solid reputation for excellence in the craft of writing.
Prior to forming Storycatchers, she worked in advertising agencies for 15 years, six of them as Head of Copy, helping brands like Oxfam, Keep Britain Tidy, The Open University, The Co-operative and first direct find and maintain a compelling voice. Dee thrives on taking complicated ideas and making them compelling and easy to grasp, and is quick to spot the hidden stories that businesses and organisations take for granted, but that will fire the imagination of the world at large.
Her strengths are the ability to put herself in the shoes of any audience to develop compelling propositions, and using language to surprise, delight and drive action. She’s a naturally social animal and uses this to rigorously examine our work and ideas: but why would anyone watch this? Read this? Share this…? Do that…?
